The Ithaka mobile application and the ithaka.appwebsite (together, the "App") are owned and operated by Text Theory LLP, a limited liability partnership incorporated in India under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008. In these Terms of Service ("Terms"), "Ithaka", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Text Theory LLP.
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Text Theory LLP. By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Ithaka is the product and brand of Text Theory LLP. It is a text-first social platform where users write, publish, and read written content. The App may include optional AI-powered writing, editing, template, and sticker-generation features.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Ithaka. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts.
The App, its software, design, and all content we create remain the property of Text Theory LLP.
"Ithaka®", the Ithaka logo, and related marks are trademarks of Text Theory LLP, registered in Class 45 under the Trade Marks Act, 1999. You may not use, copy, or register any mark identical or confusingly similar to ours without our prior written permission. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right in our marks.
You may not post content that is:
Text Theory LLP may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create legal or safety risk, or harm the platform, users, or third parties. You may stop using the App at any time and may delete your account as described in our Privacy Policy.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Text Theory LLP does not provide medical, legal, or therapeutic advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Text Theory LLP is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes become effective means acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. The courts at the location of Text Theory LLP's registered office shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App.
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, including the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the contact details of our Grievance Officer are set out below. The Grievance Officer acknowledges complaints within 24 hours and resolves them within the timelines required by applicable law.
