Child Safety & CSAM Prevention Policy

Last updated: August 12, 2026

Ithaka, operated by Text Theory LLP, a limited liability partnership incorporated in India under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008, is committed to maintaining a safe environment and preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to all users and all content on Ithaka.

Published Standards Against CSAE

Ithaka has zero tolerance for CSAE, CSAM, grooming, sextortion, trafficking of a child, solicitation of minors, sexualized communication with minors, or any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children.

Users must not create, upload, store, share, request, threaten to share, or encourage content involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of a minor. Violations may result in immediate content removal, permanent account restriction, preservation of evidence, and reports to law enforcement or relevant child safety authorities.

In-App Reporting & User Feedback

  • Users can report content or accounts directly in the App.
  • Users may also report child safety concerns by email using the contact below.
  • Reports are reviewed promptly and escalated when they indicate a child safety risk.

Addressing CSAM

  • We remove CSAM when we obtain actual knowledge of it.
  • We may disable accounts involved in CSAE or CSAM and prevent repeat access.
  • We may preserve relevant information where needed to investigate, enforce our policies, comply with law, or make reports to authorities.

Compliance With Child Safety Laws

We comply with applicable child safety laws and report confirmed CSAM to appropriate regional or national authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where required. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement first.
